Colin Elgie

Colin Elgie is the Soil Fertility Specialist for Field Crops with the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Rural Affairs. Prior to joining the ministry in 2022, Colin worked as an agronomist at an ag retailer in southwestern Ontario, with a focus on 4R nutrient management. He is a Certified Crop Advisor, with 4R Nutrient Management Speciality designation. Colin’s focus in his current role is to improve nutrient use efficiency and profitability for Ontario’s field crop production. Colin is based out of the Ridgetown office.
